Maria C. Ventura

Maria da Conceição de Sousa Roque Ventura is a rather a special case among Portuguese water –colours  painters.

Born in Lisbon in 1935 she quite early began learning painting but it was not before 1985 that she took drawing lessons with sculptor Master Martins Correia and painting ones with  sculptor Master Martins Correia and painting ones with Mme.Claudine Thireau. She started again painting in Italy , where she was lived until 1999, when she was return in Portugal.
